Blessed be her memory in our midst.
Kathy, Karen, and Theresa, I am so sorry for your loss. I know the loss of one’s mother. As you well know. I loved your mother dearly. She will be missed. What a dear and wonderful aunt she was. May God place His comfort on you and give you His Peace.
I wanted to include more information about my Mom Lydia. She was an avid gardener and canned her own vegetables that she grew, she loved to sew, make quilts, play the organ, accordion and guitar, try any craft, cook and bake delicious foods. She helped out on the farm and raised chickens, ducks and geese.
My Mom was active in her church and community throughout her life and tried to help to make her community a better place to live.
My Mom loved living in the communities of Echo and Belview among her good friends and neighbors. My daughters and I spent many days on my Mom’s quiet, peaceful farm surrounded by corn and soybean fields and those great neighbors. Many, many of us will not achieve a 3 digit age but my Mom was blessed with few diseases and ailments and she was fiercely independent with a strong and sustaining faith.
I love you Mom and am grateful to have had a Mom longer than most people, but I will miss all the positive support and advice you gave me over the years. Blessed by your memory.
Karen Kletscher, Chaska
Lydia was my mom’s best friend! They did so much together, including talking every day on the phone, volunteering at their church, and weekly shopping trips to Redwood. Lydia was a great lady and a wonderful friend to my mother. She lived a good, long life. With sympathy to her family and friends, Kari Seime
My condolences to the Kletcher family.
