Really good memories of summer trips to Norway lake (almost 40 yrs ago). My parents Lloyd and Gerry Messenger have enjoyed your continued friendship over the years. My best to all of you over the coming days. Our family is thinking of yours.
I am so thankful I had the joy of visiting with Little Donna during Mom’s last weeks. She was such a joy to visit with. Prayers to her family, I know she will be greatly missed.
Toni..Donna’s daughter
Dearest cousins, uncles, aunts who carry the Baune name….and friends
My aunt Madonna flowered into a most lovely person….with a likeable bevy of children…who always enjoyed to join in on a good old sing along…maybe a little out of tune, but that might have been due to the rusty strings on my guitar as we are a bunch of frugal Germans….I visited with Madonna last summer at the Gregor and Ella dedication….she casually expressed her health sufferings cheerfully and honestly, I hope I will have the grace to give the same smile when my time comes. Rest in Peace, Madonna.

And let me recall that it was at one of her kid’s wedding ( the name started with a J) after a polka/shadish/two step infested gala at the Wanda reception hall that my car got stuck up to the axles in some sort of southern Minnesota mud …. and it was Madonna who added the extra horsepower to get me out of the mess….okay that might be a bit of a Paul Bunyan tale, but it is closer to the truth than not. So in conclusion, Madonna was triple A in my book.
Dale, Just heard about Donna. Of course so very saddened by your loss. I have to say we didn’t get to know you two very well but we certainly enjoyed and maintain a lovely relationship with your son Jay and Tami & boys. You& Donna raised a wonderful son in Jay. I will be praying for your entire family. Sincerely Sue & Larry Bool Lincoln, NE
