Margie Ann (Peters) Negen was born June 9, 1940 on a farm near Clara City, Minnesota, to Heye and Fern (Quigley) Peters. She was one of 8 children. Margie attended school in Clara City. She was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Clara City, and it was there that Margie was united in marriage to James Negen on February 6, 1957. The couple made their home in Renville where Margie worked part time at the dime store, and stayed home with their two children until they started school. In 1969, the family moved to Redwood Falls, and Margie worked at Control Data, later known as Zytec and Artesyn, for 30 years. Margie enjoyed cooking, baking, camping and fishing. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren; babies and young children were always drawn to her. Margie and Jim loved dancing in their younger years and playing cards with family during holiday gatherings.
Margie is survived by her husband Jim; children: Deb (Dan) Hildebrandt of Redwood Falls, and Bob (Diane) Negen of Alexandria; grandchildren: Jeremy (Renee) Hildebrandt, Amy Hildebrandt, Cory (Janelle) Negen, and Cassie (Matt) Lanoue; great-grandchildren: Morgan, Jaylin, Seth, Blake, Alexis, Breck, Jordie, and Veya; and brothers: Heye Peters, Jr., Marvin (Karen) Peters, Harlan (Linda) Peters, and Jerry (Roxanne) Peters; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers: Harry and Everet, and sister, Doris.
Sending prayers and hugs to my family. May God Bless Aunt Margie.
So very sorry for your loss.
