Krysta (Potter) Schroeder was born and raised in Redwood Falls, Minnesota. From a very young age, she showed an interest in Mortuary Science, and was determined to one day be a Mortician.
She graduated from Redwood Valley High School in 2004 and went on to the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis where she received her Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Mortuary Science, graduating in 2007. Immediately after graduation, Krysta started working with Stephens Funeral Service, serving families all across southwest Minnesota. She loves working in her hometown and surrounding communities, building and maintaining relationships with families she serves.
Krysta is married to Steven Schroeder, who grew up in Morton and also graduated from Redwood Valley High School. Steve is employed by the Redwood Falls Police Department as Assistant Chief. Krysta and Steve have two children, Lyda and Harrison, as well as an Olde English Bulldogge, Butch. The Schroeder family belongs to the First United Methodist Church in Redwood Falls.
When Krysta isn’t working, she enjoys playing church softball, walking the trails in Ramsey Park, keeping up with the latest movies, and attending concerts with her husband.
