Allen Lee Kugel, age 56 of Jeffers formerly of Minneapolis, passed away Sunday at his home on his favorite holiday, 4th of July, while surrounded by family and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 9, 2021 at Redwood Valley Funeral Home in Redwood Falls.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.  

Allen Lee Kugel was born December 23, 1964 to Ronald and Patricia (Williams) Kugel in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith.  Allen graduated from North High School in Minneapolis.  On October 2, 1991, he married the love of his life Roxanne Yarbrough in Shakopee.  He worked in brick restoration for over 20 years, most of which was with Advanced Masonry Restoration based in the Twin Cities.  Allen made many friends during his time there.  His relationships with his coworkers continued long after he couldn’t work any longer.  Allen loved playing cards, while gathered with his children, godchildren, and friends.  He also, loved playing horseshoes and bowling.

Allen is survived by his wife Roxanne of Jeffers; sons: David A. (Ben) Kaufman of Minneapolis and Johnathan L. Kugel of Chaska; father Ronald (Heather) Kugel of Enid, OK; godchildren: Nathan (Amber) Nutter, Jeffrey (Jessica) Nutter, Savanna (Corey) Harris-Peterson, and Joseph Nutter; siblings: Pamela (Dennis) Beckman, Ronald (Erica) Smith, Shannon Smith, and Scott Kugel; aunt Barb (Richard) Pettis; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother Patricia, brother Wayne Smith, and niece Melissa Kugel.
