Angie L. Willard, age 82 of Tracy, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at Prairie Home Hospice Lockwood House in Marshall following a courageous battle with cancer. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2024 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Tracy. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church on Saturday. Interment will be in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Tracy. Stephens Funeral Service – Tracy Area Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Angeline “Angie” L. (DeBaere) Willard was born March 1, 1942 to Bernard and Alice (DeCrock) DeBaere in Marshall, Minnesota. She attended Marshall public schools and graduated from Lynd High School in 1960. On April 20, 1960, Angie was united in marriage to Dale Willard at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Marshall, where they enjoyed their reception at Club 59. Together the couple established the Willard family farm in Amiret Township in 1961, where Angie lived the rest of her life. Angie stayed home to raise her children, she also helped on the farm, and later went to work at Prairie View Nursing Home as a cook. She was a longtime member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Angie enjoyed playing cards and was a member of a local card club. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed attending many of her kids and grandkids sporting events. But most of all, Angie loved spending time with her family and friends.

Angie is survived by her husband Dale of 64 years; children: Douglas (Cindy) of Tracy, Susan (Dale) Beukelman of Sioux Falls, SD, Sandra (Randy) Hanson of Redwood Falls, Daniel (Meah) of Lakeville, Darren (Jill) of Sioux Falls, SD, and Dean (Misty) of Athens, GA; 18 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; brothers: Dick (Pam) DeBaere of Fort Collins, CO and Dave (Joann) DeBaere of Loveland, CO; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and grandson Justin Willard.
