Ron, Bryan, and Rachel, Sandy and I send our sympathies to you at the passing of Audrey. She fought a valiant battle against cancer through the years but cancer is a difficult opponent. I was fortunate to get to know Audrey on two levels. First as our very capable and knowledgeable City Administrator while I served on City Council and Planning Commission. Tracy was very fortunate to have her. I very much appreciated her ability to have an idea for improving the city and a plan on how to make that idea a reality. During this time a friendship was also formed. We found that we could talk to one another about our families and all those things that friends discuss. Her love of her family was always evident. You all meant the world to her and she was very proud of you. Because we will not be able to be at the funeral Thursday I wanted to let you know of our admiration of Audrey and our friendship. Audrey was a lovely and caring friend. She had a great sense of humor and always talked so lovingly about her family. She will be missed. May God Bless her and keep her safe.
