Barbara Lou (Bill) Kammerer, age 83 of Redwood Falls, passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 3, 2024. Private family services will be held December 18, 2024 at Christ’s Victory Lutheran Church in Redwood Falls. Burial will be in the Redwood Falls Cemetery. Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Barbara Lou (Bill) Kammerer was born March 7, 1941 in Wabasso, Minnesota, to Milbert and Marcella (Mustfall) Bill. She was baptized on March 16, 1941, and confirmed in the Christian faith. In 1959, Barb graduated from Wabasso High School. On March 12, 1960, Barb was united in marriage to Kenneth Kammerer at the Evangelical United Brethren Church in Wabasso. Barb was born and raised in Wabasso, but she and Ken moved to Redwood Falls to start their married life together. They were blessed with three wonderful daughters. A highlight of her life was traveling to Alaska to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. Barb was a member of Christ’s Victory Lutheran Church in Redwood Falls. She was most comfortable being at home with her family and pets, and she loved decorating her home any time she wanted. She found great joy in a beautifully decorated home, exhibiting her creative side through painting, and using her green thumb for gardening and growing new plants each year. She enjoyed sports, only if it was a grandchild’s team or the Minnesota Wild. Family was Barb’s greatest joy. She was happiest when she was with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and she never missed their sports or events.

Barb is survived by her children: Lorie (Jim) Palusky of Maple Lake, Cathy (Randy) Schuldt of Two Harbors, and Kimberli Jahnz of Redwood Falls; grandchildren: Trevor and Jordan Palusky, David (Linnea) and Jenna Schuldt, Brandon Jahnz, Brittany (Brett) Flicek, Courtney (Tim) Huseby, and Zach (Shayna) Jahnz; and 12 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Ken, brother Glenn Bill, and all her loving pets.
