I knew Char from when she worked at the Windom Area Hospital in the Housekeeping department. I also visited with her briefly this spring in Worthington. My sympathies to her family in their loss.

I was very sad to see the obituary for Char. She took care of my mother, Dolores Schmitt, at Peterson Estates in Westbrook. She was very kind and my mother was always so happy to see her. She always went above and beyond in her care. She truly cared about her patients, and we were so lucky to have her watching over our mother. My sympathies to her family. Thank you for sharing her with my mother.

My condolences to Char's family. Char and I use to go to Lake Benton in 1964/1965 to go dancing. My mother arranged a ride for us to get to Lake Benton but we had to find a ride home before 1 AM. We always found a ride, never stranded. I also remember her first date with Jim Cooley.
