Christine Ann Gullickson, age 43 of Franklin formerly of Sleepy Eye, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023 at her home surrounded by family. Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Redwood Valley Funeral Home in Redwood Falls. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Christine Ann (Meidl) Gullickson was born October 16, 1979 to Edmund and Shirley (Koopman) Meidl in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota. She was baptized November 4, 1979 and later confirmed at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye. In September of 1999, she was united in marriage to Steven Lough in New Ulm and they were blessed with two daughters. Later, Christine married Charles “Chuck” Gullickson on March 30, 2009 in Redwood Falls. The couple was blessed with Jaspen and made their home near Franklin. Christine loved spending time in her vegetable garden. She enjoyed karaoke, watching the Minnesota Twins and playing darts and bean bags. You could often find her hunting for bargains at thrift stores and garage sales. She thoroughly enjoyed family gatherings and her children’s activities. She would do anything for anybody, no matter how far she had to drive. Christine loved her family and they always came first.
Christine is survived by her husband Chuck; children: Jennifer Gullickson (Nate), Jordan Gullickson, Natalie Lough, Amber Lough and Jaspen Gullickson; granddaughter: Jemma-Rose Gullickson; siblings: John Meidl, Colleen (Randy) Pederson, Jerome (Sue) Meidl, and Jeri Lynn (LeRoy) Aasgaard; siblings-in-law: Barb Gullickson (Mike Schottenbauer), Stan (Laurie) Gullickson, Chris Gullickson (Tonia Crooks), LuAnn Campbell, Lisa Gullickson; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, twin daughters, Kayla Marie & Kristen Jo, daughter Jeana, brother Jeff, niece & nephews Sarah & Dominic Meidl and Kyle Campbell, and brother-in-law Roman Seifert.
