Cory Leo Lamb, age 30 of Willmar, formerly of Lower Sioux Community, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.  An all-night wake service will begin at 4:00 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2022 at Guild Hall on the Lower Sioux Community, until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 26.  Interment will be held at a later date.

Cory Leo Lamb was born December 21, 1991 to Alfred and Melinda (Lamb) Richards in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  He was baptized at St. Cornelia’s Episcopal Church.  Cory attended elementary and high school in Willmar.  Cory was full of jokes, laughs and had a great sense of humor until the end.  He joked and laughed every day.  Even when he was in pain, his laughter was contagious.  His smile was his best feature, although he was so handsome.  Cory was always singing out loud and dancing to any beat.  He enjoyed cars and working on them, taking them apart and putting them back together.  Cory was a naturally gifted mechanic.  He was also known as a jack of all trades.  Cory loved fishing with his kids and going to the park with them.  He would give you the shirt off his back.  His love for food was a big part of his life!  Cory loved his family, especially their get-togethers and cookouts.  He will be dearly missed by all he touched.

Cory is survived by his children: Zavion Lamb, Zeyla Lamb, Ava Dow, Eternity Lamb and Cory Lamb Jr.; parents Melinda and Alfred Sr. Richards; siblings: Stephanie Garcia, Chad Riderner, Courtney (Bryan) Astorga, Alfred Jr. (Tawnya) Richards, Leon (Amara) Richards and Tehya Richards; aunt Madonna Lamb.  Cory is also survived by the mothers of his children: first love Jasmine Reyna (mother of Zavian & Zeyla), the beauty in between Samantha Hein (mother of Ava) and best friend & forever love Natasha Juarez (mother of Eternity & Cory Jr.) and many other relatives and friends.  He is preceded in death by his grandparents Judith Peters and Dennis Lamb, and aunt Michelle Leith.
