My thoughts are with all of your family during this very hard time. I have memories of a special time, years ago, when Larry and I and our children were able to visit Walnut Grove. Doris was such a gracious host, offering us a place to stay for the night and spending time with our children, who were quite young at the time. A highlight was attending the Laura Ingalls Wilder outdoor pageant together. May God hold you close as you adjust to this loss and may you fall back on your good memories to help you through the hard days ahead. Love and prayers to all.
