Gail Marie (Kramer) Strandjord, age 73 of Redwood Falls, formerly of Eden Prairie, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Centracare Hospital in St. Cloud with family by her side. Visitation will be held 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Redwood Valley Funeral Home in Redwood Falls. A private family burial will be at St. Catherine’s Catholic Cemetery. Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. 

Gail Marie (Kramer) Strandjord was born April 3, 1950 in Redwood Falls, Minnesota to Leonard and Mary (Keefe) Kramer. She graduated from Redwood Falls High School in 1968. Gail moved to Minneapolis and began working for a government agency in housing for 3 years. She then began her career path in insurance. Gail became an underwriter and risk manager and held a CPCU designation in insurance. From 1982-1985, Gail lived in Denver. From there, she moved to Eden Prairie where she lived for many years until retiring from insurance in 2009. She moved to Redwood Falls in 2017. Gail enjoyed traveling, playing board and card games, and visiting with friends and family.

Gail is survived by her siblings: Lynne Kramer and Craig Kramer of Redwood Falls, and Jeff (Suzy) Kramer of Blooming Prairie; nieces and nephews: Rachael (John) Eickhoff of Owatonna and their children: Krin, Noah & Evelyn, Bryan (Jessica) Kramer of Long Lake and their children: Blakely, Kayson & Isla; David (Stacy) Kramer of Rogers and their children Boden, Sibley & Lola; Thomas (Kari) Kramer of New Prague and their children: Hudson, Shae & Sophia, and Lynn (Stephanie) Chheang of Rogers and their son Jackson; and many other relatives and friends. Gail is preceded in death by her parents.
