Isidoro Sanchez, Jr – also known as Bubbers, Bubs, and Izzy – was born June 14, 1988 in Redwood Falls, Minnesota to Isidoro Sanchez, Sr and Lori Schoen. He was baptized at St. Cornelia’s Episcopal Church on the Lower Sioux Community. He graduated from Eci Nompa Woonspe School in Morton, Minnesota. Bubs’ good heart attracted Jill Pendleton and they had been together for 13 years. They were best friends, loves of each other’s lives, and when they argued, they couldn’t stay mad for long. Laughing and joking came naturally when they were together, and they enjoyed going to Jackpot, playing keno and having drinks. Isidoro loved hanging out with his friends and going fishing with his family in the summer. He loved playing keno and caveman keno was his favorite. Bubs was a sports fanatic and an avid Timberwolves and Vikings fan. When the games got intense, so did Bubs, he was hilarious to watch during games. Often you could find him yelling at the tv as he paced around the house. He liked watching movies, particularly the older movies like The Karate Kid and the Rocky series. Some of his favorite shows he’d watch weekly new episodes were Breaking Bad, Tulsa King and Yellowstone. He was an old soul for being so young. He had a helpful and caring spirit about him and was always willing to help anyone; but he never asked for help in return. He had a good soul. He was never judgmental and worked hard to keep the peace and fix situations. When he became a dad, his daughter, Marie, became his sole purpose in life and was deeply devoted to her. There was never a dull moment when they were together – he was always making her laugh. He would often take her swimming at Jackpot and they loved the arcade as well. He would set her in the basketball game so she could make the baskets. Bubs would take Marie out on the go kart and simply drive around a path in the yard for hours. Bubs loved chocolate – KitKat, Snickers, Reese’s, Mr. Goodbar, and Hershey’s with almonds. He got Marie hooked on chocolate, and went through a Snickers phase with Jill’s son, Chance. Bubs stepped in and helped Jill raise Chance. Bubs and Chance spent their time together playing video games for hours. 2k, Call of Duty, and GTA were some favorites. They’d build fires and make s’mores. Bubs often kept Chance busy doing yard work. Bubs loved spending time with Hallie and Sloane; he was “Uncle Bubs” to them. He would make forts with Hallie in the living room. When Sloane was a baby, Bubs would feed and rock him to sleep.
Isidoro is survived by his daughter, Marie Lori Louise Sanchez; stepson Chance Pendleton; fiancée, Jill Pendleton; siblings: Corinna Schoen, Leticia Perez, Jerome Schoen, Trinidad Rangel, and Kersten Kezena; father Isidoro Sanchez, Sr; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother Lori Schoen, grandma Corinne Schoen, brother Ricardo Sanchez, and close friends Lydia GreyEagle and Debra Schoen.
