Jace Amir Goodthunder, infant son of Jay Goodthunder & Rayna Schmid, journeyed to the spirit world Monday, June 29, 2020 at Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis.  Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 3 at St. Cornelia’s Episcopal Cemetery on the Lower Sioux Community.  Wake will be held at Jay’s house beginning 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 1 until time of burial.  Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Jace Amir Goodthunder was born June 22, 2020 to Joseph “Jay” Goodthunder and Rayna Schmid in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  In his short time here he showed his will to live with his bravery and courage. Jace put up an incredible fight and was loved by many.

Jace is survived by his parents Jay Goodthunder and Rayna Schmid; siblings: Tabia, Joey, Jalen, Angel, Connor & Love Goodthunder and Tati Schmid; grandparents: Koreen Koerner and Gary & Mila Schmid; aunts & uncles: Dawn (Earl) Goodthunder Pendleton, Jason Goodthunder, Lance Schmid and Chad Schmid; nieces and nephews: Brielle Green, Jalen Goodthunder Jr., Aiyanna Goodthunder-Anderson and Kyrie Phanuel; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was greeted into heaven by his grandfather Jody Goodthunder and many other relatives.
