Our deepest sympathy to Jim’s family. Jim & I worked together on various committees. He was a good friend and politician

Wava, I'm so sorry to hear about the death of Jim. He was such a kind and decent man. We were sworn in together in January 1987, and I quickly got to know him as a quiet, soft-spoken, thoughtful colleague. I will miss him. Your loss, after 70 years of marriage, is huge. We keep you and your family in our prayers at this time of grief. John & Connie Marty

Rest in Peace, Jim. I will pray for you and your family. I enjoyed working with you in the Minnesota Senate and the many times we formed a bi-partisan team on bills affecting rural Minnesota. Tom Neuville

I did not know Mr. Vickerman, but he was beloved by my Mom and Dad, Bob and Dolores Schmitt of Dovray. His name came up many times in our home. My sympathies for the family at this time. My folks are gone now, but missed and beloved as I am sure Jim will be, too! XOX
