Karen Mae Marie Kubica was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 20th, 1951. She enjoyed crocheting, visiting with friends, going fishing, shopping, and spending time with her kitties. Her main passion in life was spending time with her fiancé Michael Maas, and they were together just short of 30 years. They were so good for each other, and took care of each other. She had a great big heart, and would volunteer to help anyone that needed it. On February 27th, 2021, Karen passed away after a short illness at the age of 70 years, 1 month, and one week. Her body had become weak and could not keep fighting. She will be greatly missed. Blessed be her memory. We will be together again one day.

She is survived by her fiancé Michael Maas; brother John Kubica; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, many aunts and uncles, and a sister in law.
