Kurt R. Enderson was born April 24, 1957 in Tracy, Minnesota to Howard and Mary (Reineking) Enderson. He graduated from Tracy High School with the class of 1975 and then furthered his education at Jackson VoTec for auto body repair. Kurt started his career at Harold’s Body Shop before opening Kurt’s Body Shop in 1983, which he was still operating. His phone greeting of “Body Shop Kurt” will be fondly remembered by his customers. Kurt married Paula Powers, and they were blessed with 3 children before parting ways. Kurt was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Tracy Fraternal Order of the Eagles, and Tracy City Council. He had a great sense of pride in his community as well as his country. He was passionate about helping others and always actively supported his community. Kurt loved airplanes and obtained his private pilot’s license in 1988. He loved taking his family on flights, and attending the Osh Kosh Air Show in Osh Kosh, WI. You’d often find Kurt riding his motorcycle, taking his grandkids for birthday rides, riding through the Black Hills and attending the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally with family and friends. Kurt will lovingly be remembered by many for his constant smile and one-of-a-kind laugh.
Kurt is survived by his children: Jackie Giesen, Jill Enderson, and Alan (Ashley) Enderson; grandchildren: Trevor, Keaton, Dillon, Jaydon, Brooklyn, Hudson, and Huxley; siblings: Amy (Todd) Johnson, Neil Enderson, Elen (Jon) Vanderhoof, Lyle (Pat) Enderson; and many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
