I always considered Kurt a great friend. We all have our struggles and he helped me through some tough times. He was as generous and kind of a man as I've ever honor to have known. I know that his family was the most important thing to him. He is going to be greatly missed. Paul and Pam

My most sincere sympathy to Kurt’s family! Always enjoyed my visit to his shop as he always had a positive attitude and always had a smile! May your many memories help you through this most difficult time and that he made a difference on those he came in contact with through work and outside work. He will be missed but his smile will always be with us!

Kurt always seemed like one of those people who, though bedeviled by a seemingly endless stream of problems, confrontations and other issues, nevertheless, marched straight ahead with a smile on his face. Someone who could keep a faithful stream of customers coming in at a business that existed for as long as Kurt's Body Shop did must've been doing something right. I know of any number of instances where Kurt went way out of his way to do a good turn for someone else. Kurt, your passing was a sad one, but I will always see that good humor and smile on your face when your name comes to mind.

Such sad news. Kurt had always been my “go to” guy when it came to repairs on any vehicle that I had. Kurt became a great friend throughout the years that I had known him. I live in the cities now, but whenever I came back into town and would bump into him at Casey’s we would always chit chat about the Black Hills or his future plans with the body shop, if any. Kurt will be missed by many. Prayers to his family for such a devastating loss. May you rest in peace Kurt. Your “body shop Kurt” and your one of kind chuckle/ laugh will be missed.

My sympathy to Jill and the family. Hold on to the memories and good times. It will help you cope with the loss. Lost my dad 3 years ago. It will get better over time. Just remember that it's not good bye; it's I will be see you again in heaven.
