Lloyd T. Ahrens, age 77 of Morton, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2025 at CentraCare Hospital in St. Cloud. Graveside Services will be held 11AM Tuesday at the Morton Cemetery. Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Lloyd T. Ahrens was born February 26, 1948 in Redwood Falls to Leonard and Dorothy (McCorquodale) Ahrens. Lloyd received his education at Morton High School and graduated with the Class of 1966. He then served his country during the Vietnam War in Germany with the United States Army. He worked in Redwood Falls for Schult Homes doing construction. He also worked with MN Valley Construction doing road construction and helped in the building of North Shore Drive, the road around Lake Superior.

Lloyd is survived by his daughter Jennifer;  grandchildren: Darion Miller-Ahrens, Soraya Ahrens, Genesis Ahrens, Alejandra “Allie” Anduaga, Anisa Minkel, Aleigha Bickhardt, Jalen Goodthunder, Javen Ahrens and Juelz Thompson; great-grandchildren: Alyana,  Jalen Jr, Londann, Vana, and Mariana; sisters: Jolene Lucio & Deborah Mammen both of Morton; and many other friends and family. He is preceded in death by his parents, son Justin Ahrens and daughter Missy Jo Ahrens.
