Lois A. Nordin-Rinks or “Tootie”, age 72, of Redwood Falls passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, October 1st, 2023, surrounded by her family. According to Lois’ wishes no services will be held. Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. 

Lois Ann (Nordin) Rinks was born January 7, 1951 in Willmar, Minnesota. Lois was a very compassionate, kind-hearted and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She resided in Tennessee for 22 years before moving back to Minnesota. She enjoyed gardening, antique shopping, “dog days” or garage saling, and sitting on the porch with her husband Bud. After the loss of her husband, she made the move back to Redwood Falls to be closer to family, where she spent the last five years of her life.

Tootie is survived by her daughter Nikki Fischer of Redwood Falls; grandchildren: Chris (Sierrah) Fischer of Dickinson, ND and Sami (Alex) Harmon of Morgan, MN; great grandchildren: Layla, Emerlea and Brantley Harmon; sisters: Lynnette and Marcia; and brother Bruce. She is preceded in death by her parents Eleanor and Mort Jensen; husband Bud Orville Rinks of TN; brothers: Mike, Gary, Bob and Billy: and sisters: Marlynn, Marvel, Sharon and Shirley.
