Marilyn Jo (Murray) Wright, age 82 of Redwood Falls, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 27, 2023. Please join her family in celebrating the legacy of Marilyn Wright 1:00-5:00 p.m. Saturday, September 23, 2023 at the Redwood Area Community Center in Redwood Falls. Marilyn Jo (Murray) Wright was born in Oklahoma and spent the last 52 years making her home in Redwood Falls, Minnesota. Marilyn loved her family, children, grand and great grandchildren and animals with all her heart. The consummate caregiver, she raised 6 boys, 2 grandchildren and many dogs, cats, parrots, bunnies and countless foster animals. A curious, kind and supportive soul, Marilyn lived her life to the fullest and enjoyed watching football, the abundant wildlife in the yard and talking about her grand and great-grandkids.
She is survived by five children: Blaine Wright of Redwood Falls, Barry Wright (sons Adam and Andrew), Bryan Wright (sons Dylan and Dugan, daughter Abby), Blair (Tanya) “David” Wright (daughter Maggie), and Brook (Tanya) Wright (son Gabe and daughter Grace). Additional surviving family members include sisters Ellen DeBiase and Kay Bird along with great grandchildren: Hannah, Harlynn and Wilber. She is preceded in death by mother, Betty Jo Murray, father, Milan J. Murray, brother, Milan Murray, husband, Walter Wayne Wright and son Walter Bradley Wright.
