Marilyn K. (Knudson) Carey, age 71 of Westbrook, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022 at Sanford Westbrook Medical Center. Memorial Services will be held at a later date. 

Marilyn Kay (Knudson) Carey was born March 24, 1951 in Westbrook, Minnesota to Emerald and Elizabeth (Dirkson) Knudson. She was united in marriage to her soul mate, Keith Carey, June 26, 1971. They celebrated 50 years of marriage together. Marilyn worked at Good Samaritan Care Center in Westbrook for a short time, and later enjoyed staying home, taking care of household duties. Marilyn spent many hours assembling puzzles and caring for her four-legged companion, Henry. She was the Presbyterian Church accompanist for many years. Marilyn would often go along with Keith to visit residents of nursing homes and assisted living facilities to provide beautiful music.

Marilyn is survived by her husband, Keith; siblings: Elizabeth (Seth) Schmidt, and Jon Knudson. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Robert Knudson, and sister Janice Baune.
