Mark Demis Whipple, age 56 of Westside of St. Paul, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2023 in St. Paul. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 29, 2023 at St. Cornelia’s Episcopal Church in Lower Sioux (Cansayapi). Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will be at a later date. Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. 

Mark Demis Whipple was born July 27, 1967 to Demis Whipple and Elizabeth Helen Simard on Westside of St. Paul, Minnesota. He attended Humboldt Senior High School and joined the National Guard following high School. Mark was very proud to be in the National Guard. He enjoyed music and was the best big brother. He was always smiling, laughing and joking around. Mark loved to be surrounded by family and friends.

Mark is survived by his mother Elizabeth Helen Simard; son; brother Leo Arredondo; sister Shelley Dow; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Demis Whipple & Kathleen “Cup” Dow, siblings Samuel Dow & Stacey Dow and close friends TJ, Martin “Meech” DeGarcia & Rob T.
