Jim, I was very saddened to see Marcy had passed. I have been remembering the good times we had all those years ago. Then there is the story of George and Lucy (the geese) that you and Marcy gave another chance of life to. My prayers are with you and your family at this very hard time for you and your children. That obituary made me smile and depicted her so well.

Deb and Jon- We are so sorry for your loss. As we read that touching obituary, we see the humor and love of family that we see in both of you. Blessings from Virginia, John & Lisa Dale

I'm sure this is awful for you all. I am so grateful that your mom/wife raised Deb to be the person she is. I can now see where Deb gets her silly personality! 🙂 You sound like a wonderful family. Sending love. Bri

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jim and the family on the loss of Martha. I always will remember her and Jim at the Auctions. We had so much fun with them and those memories I will always cherish. God bless all of you and the lord will place his healing hands on all of you.

Our thoughts and prayers to the family. She always had a smile on her face and a great disposition. Blessed be her memory.

That's our Murphy. One of the greatest roommates/friends a person could ask for. I remember how she wrote religiously to Jim and anxiously awaited every one of his letters--we were in the midst of the Viet Nam war. May her soul rest in peace. Love and prayers to Jim and the entire family. Rita aka Pete

Heaven has gained a truly great girl !!!! From decades ago, I still remember Marcy's spunky attitude at the Bytner Farm on top of the hill near Creekside. Sharp witted with a great sense of humor, Marcy was a joy to be with in our large family gatherings. Connie and I will pray for all of, as we say in Pennsylvania, "yinzes." God Bless. Cousin Mike

The pic above shows the mischievous look in our dear Murphy's eyes. We (Fran, Peet, Murphy and Lennie) had so much fun sharing a crummy 2-bedroom apartment in Northern VA - and worked as secretaries for the Federal Government in D.C. We were all decent, maybe naïve girls from PA. We were honest and loyal young girls who grew up to become honest and loyal old women. My husband John and I went to the wedding of Jim and Marcy. It was hard on all of us when Marcy moved to Minnesota, but seeing how she loved the farm and the wide open spaces, and how happy she was with Jim and her growing family, we were - are - happy for her. I know she is fine, in the arms of our Lord, and those of us left behind must share in her joy. We love you Marcy - we love LOVE L-O-V-E you. Lennie
