God blessed me and my family richly through the teaching and friendship of Max (and his wife Margie). I was also blessed to have been trained for ordination under his discipleship and we have been able to share what we learned as the firm foundation of our ministry work over the years. While we are sad, we rejoice in the fact that the seeds sown by this wonderful brother in Christ who preached it all and let God sort it out have been multiplied and shared around the world. As the song says, “When we all get to Heaven, What a day of rejoicing that will be! When we all see Jesus, We’ll sing and shout the victory!” We love you brother and look forward to the day we can behold His glory together and see all that were richly affected by the devotion of your life to His work.

It was a great privilege to have Max in our lives during my childhood and teen years. He was one of my father’s best friends and he was a positive and godly influence in my life. As a pastor myself, I celebrate the Faith which he shared with so many, and the Grace of God by which we are saved. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.
