Myra Ann Dallmann, age 89 of Wabasso, passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving family, on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at Valley View Manor in Lamberton.  Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 3, 2024 at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Wabasso. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at church on Saturday. Burial is in St. Matthew’s Lutheran Cemetery, rural Wabasso. Stephens Funeral Service -Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. 

Myra Ann Dallmann was born February 11, 1934 in Waterbury Township, Redwood County, Minnesota to Floyd and Merryellen (Wittwer) Schwahn. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Matthew Lutheran Church and attended Wabasso Public School. On June 17, 1951, Myra was united in marriage to Armin Dallmann at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Wabasso, and together they made their home on the Schwahn family farm in Waterbury Township. They lived and raised their family there, until moving into Wabasso in 1994. Myra was a lifetime member of St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church where she was very active in many capacities. She was also active in the Wabasso Legion Auxiliary, and card clubs which she greatly enjoyed. Myra also loved making cards, entertaining, and being with her family and friends – especially her grandchildren.

Myra is survived by her children: Faith (Gary) Lucht of Inver Grove Heights and Lori (Dave) Eis of Wabasso; son-in-law: Al Ahlbrecht of Lafayette; grandchildren: Tara (Troy) Zincke and their children Tally & Trigg, Benjamin (Susie) Lucht and their children David, Conor, Sarah and Sophia, Andrew (Sheena) Lucht and their children Tenley and Brody, Zachery (Tina) Eis and their children Avery, Delaina and Emersyn, Brittney (Joshua) Goche and their children Jackson, Liam and Piper, Jayden (Emory) Eis, Elizabeth Ahlbrecht, Danielle Ahlbrecht and her child Bevin. She is also survived by her sisters: Ellen Gunderson and Jan Lawrenz; and sister-in-law Doris Dallmann. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Armin in 2015, daughter Beverly Ahlbrecht in 1997, sister Mildred (Fred) Dallmann, and brothers-in-law Duane Gunderson, Dean Lawrenz and Lester Dallmann.
