Naomi “Mimi” Leith, age 62 of Redwood Falls, formerly of Mound, MN and Lodi, CA, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at her home. An all-night visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, January 28 at the Lower Sioux (Cansayapi) Recreational Center and will continue until the service on Monday. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 29, 2024 at Lower Sioux (Cansayapi) Recreational Center. Interment will be in the St. Cornelia’s Episcopal Cemetery. Stephens Funeral Service -Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. 

Naomi “Mimi” Kay Leith was born February 13, 1961 to Forrest “Twig” Leith and Janet Gail Zahn in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She attended school in Wayzata and grew up in the Minneapolis area. Mimi moved to California with her family, and later to Massachusetts. In 1993, she settled in Redwood Falls where she has resided since. Raising her children was her biggest joy, and when she had time, she also enjoyed camping, boating, and hosting family gatherings. She loved dancing, bowling, playing darts, and shooting pool. Mimi often watched soap operas and DIY shows which gave her inspiration for her own home projects.

Mimi is survived by her special person Pamp; children: Robert Bongard, Anthony Bongard, Nina Leith and Jesse Leith; grandchildren: Ria Leith, Aurelia Leith and Mahpiyato Leith; siblings: Shahn Leith, Robin Leith, Kirk Leith and Shannon Frauly; and many other relatives and friends.  Mimi is preceded in death by her father Forrest “Twig” Leith, mother Janet Bruhn, uncle Charlie Leith, antie Sandra “Sandee” DeGroat, antie Yoyo DeGroat, and sister Jaclyn Staley.
