Patricia “Patty” Ann Arnold, age 66 of Brandon, MN, formerly of Belview, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2024 at her home. Memorial Services will be held at a later date.

Patricia “Patty” Ann (Sander) Arnold was born July 18, 1958 in Granite Falls, Minnesota, to Tyler Eugene and Margaret Inez (McCarty) Sander. She was baptized and confirmed at First Evangelical Lutheran Church (later named Grace Lutheran Church) in Belview. She graduated from Belview Public School. On May 3, 1980, Patty married the love of her life, Douglas “Radar” Arnold at Grace Lutheran Church in Belview. Patty and Radar shared their love and life together for 44 years and 7 months, along with their four children, grandchildren, parents, siblings, nieces, nephews, and many friends. Patty loved pontoon rides around the lake, spending time on the deck with family and friends, playing Bingo, going to movies, and watching Survivor. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Belview, and taught Sunday School for many years. Patty always had a smile on her face and love in her heart. Everyone was welcome at Patty and Radar’s house; they all thought of Patty as a second mom, and they never went home hungry. Patty spent many hours helping her kids’ friends with schoolwork and making sure they improved their grades. She had no filter and was known for her sassy, witty sense of humor; she loved putting a smile on everyone’s face. To know Patty was to love her. To honor Patty’s wish of living at home, Radar spent every hour being her caregiver. To help them during the final months, they enlisted the loving care of the staff of Douglas County Hospice and the family is most appreciative of their compassion. The family would also like to thank the doctors, nurses and therapists for helping Patty through this difficult journey.

Patty is survived by her husband, Doug “Radar” Arnold; children: Chad (Ashley) Arnold, David (Amelia) Arnold, Ashley Arnold (significant other James Gardner), Emily Arnold (fiancé Trevor Kruse); grandchildren: Blake Arnold, Everleigh Gardner, Hudson Arnold, Tyson Gardner, and Harper Arnold; parents: Eugene and Margaret Sander; mother-in-law Peggy Arnold; siblings: Vicky (Marvin “Pete”) Kuehn, Cheryl (Scott) Fern, Rose (Michael) Jackson, Mary (Tim) Schwaegerl; and sisters-in-law Kathy Sander and Paula (Rob) DuChaine. She is preceded in death by her brother Robert Sander, father-in-law Edward Arnold, and sister-in-law Diane Arnold.

Memorials may be given to the CurePSP organization at curepsp.org or mailing to CurePSP, 325 Hudson Street, 4th Floor, New York, NY 10013. Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

May she rest in God’s loving arms.
