Paul H. Schroer, age 51 of New Ulm, passed away Friday, April 17, 2020 at his home, peacefully in his sleep, following a 10 month battle with cancer.  Private family services will be held at a later date. Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Paul H. Schroer was born June 21, 1968 in New Ulm, Minnesota to Harold “Bud” and Judy (Schapekahm) Schroer.  He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith.  He graduated from Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School and Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm.  Most recently, Paul was employed as manager at the Holiday Station in New Ulm. 

He is survived by his mother, Judy Schroer of New Ulm; sisters: Michelle (Tom) Polson of Savage, Amy Haala (Andy Svoboda) of Olivia, and Beth Schroer (Jamie Aalderks) of Danube; nieces and nephews: twins McKenzie Franke & Landon (Ali) Franke, twins Brielle & Ramsey Franke, Cole Gostonczik, Kiya Aalderks, Finley Svoboda, Max & Gabbi Polson; great nephew Elijah Franke; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.  He is preceded in death by his father Harold “Bud” Schroer, and his grandparents.
