Sherri Lynne (Woelfel) Bertrand was born on April 2, 1969 to Robert “Bob” and Elaine (Flesner) Woelfel in Redwood Falls. She was baptized at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church. Sherri attended schools in Redwood Falls. She was united in marriage to Robert “Bob” Bertrand at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church. They later divorced in 2010, but were blessed with two children, Samantha and Brady. Sherri worked a variety of jobs in the Redwood Falls and Willmar areas, but most of all she enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom. Her special interests were spending time at the lake, tanning in the pool, and fishing. She loved the water. Sherri also loved camping, and shopping to the extreme! She particularly enjoyed painting her own nails with the smallest details, coordinating with any holiday or season. Most of all she loved her children and grandchildren. Sherri’s sense of humor will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Sherri is survived by her children: Samantha (Chris) Reisdorfer of Montevideo, Brady Bertrand (Francisca Gonzalez) of Willmar, and Victoria Belmore of Willmar; grandchildren: James and Christian Reisdorfer of Montevideo; mother Elaine Woelfel of Redwood Falls; siblings: Teri Woelfel of Redwood Falls, Joan Woelfel (Kevin Sinclair) of Wabasso, Gene (Sue) Hansen of Omaha, NE; significant other Mike Essendrup of Willmar; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
