Vi was so genuine and real. She was always grateful for a visit and loved to learn. What an amazing life she had and impact she made on so many. Always teaching and making people smile with her frank sense of humor. So thankful to have known and loved her.

One of the first neighbors that we met when we moved back to Westbrook, a very independent lady that told you what was what. Our daughters not only had her as a neighbor, a friend, and a teacher. We will miss her.

Mrs. Dohrer was one of my favorite teachers. It was always a joy to greet her when we would see each other at church when I came back to Westbrook. Viola was a sweet lady and also a good friend of my mother, Dona.

To the family of Viola Dohrer, this is Michell Klasse, daughter of Jim and Peggy Klasse. Mrs. Dohrer, as I know her, taught all my siblings and myself 3rd grade. She was direct but very encouraging. She did not give up on her students and wanted you to do your best! She blessed our lives, and many others through her example. She can rest now and be with family members and go on living peacefully! Love, Michell
