I was very shocked and sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I transfer from Minneapolis to Luverne in 1973 for Northwestern Bell It eventually became US West and Bill became my manager. Those we good days. Then in 1999 I transferred to Tucson . I eventually retired and moved to Sioux Falls. I would see Bill occasionally, Box Car Days and at the lake now and then. Just want to extend my sincere sympathy to his family.

I was shocked and sadden when I heard the news of Bill's passing. When I started my telecommunications career in 1979 he was my supervisor and I enjoyed working for him then and also when I returned to US West in the 1990s. If I happened to see him around Lake Shetek after he retired he always stopped to talk. My sympathy to his family.
