Orville Studemann age 86 of Tyler passed away Thursday, November 20, 2014 at the Tyler Hospital. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 24 at First English Lutheran Church in Tyler. Visitation is 4:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday at the Tyler Area Funeral Home and will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Monday. Burial is in the Russell Cemetery. Orville Studemann was born February 20, 1928 in Glencoe, Minnesota to George and Augusta (Meier) Studemann. He attended school in the Echo district. Orville helped his dad on the farm after he completed his schooling. He was united in marriage to Beverly Buchert on January 22, 1955 in Russell. Beverly passed away April 16, 1992. Orville married Lois Mitchell on October 14, 1993 at Peace Lutheran Church in Ruthton. He was a carpenter and a trapper. Orville was a very proud provider and was active up until his death. He enjoyed visiting with the guys at the feed store in Tyler and driving around checking his traps. Orville’s hobbies included hunting and fishing.
Orville is survived by his wife Lois of 21 years; children: Randy (Ginny) Studemann of Tyler, Deb (Richard) Johnson of Hutchinson, Keith (Cindy) Studemann of Valley City, ND, and Cory (Jennifer) Studemann of Cosmos; grandchildren: Jeremy, Jessica, Sara, Mike, Reggie, and Jennifer; Heather, Brad, Ray, and Wes; Casey, Melissa, Shawn, and Alicia; Lara, Anthony, Travis, Trystan, Alayna, Jordan, Mark, and Jeff; Dylan and Mason; 25 great grandchildren; one sister Lila of Glencoe; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Beverly, daughter Bonnie King, and great grandson Zander.
