Traditional Funeral Service
The term “traditional service” is often used to describe funeral services of various types that do not involve cremation. A service, religious or non-religious in nature, is often held at church, the funeral home, or alternative location. Prior to services, there is usually a visitation period where the family can gather and receive friends. The casket may be open or closed, depending on the wishes of the deceased and the family.Following the service, there is usually a procession to the cemetery where interment is to take place.
Graveside Funeral Service
Another option is a “graveside service”. This is a simple burial service held at the cemetery without a visitation period preceding it. Whatever your preferences are, our staff is committed to carefully listening to and understanding your needs, and then customizing a service to meet those needs. We will help you create a service that is meaningful and honors the life of your loved one. A “traditional service” does not have to be “traditional.”
