He enjoyed living off the land or as he would say, like Daniel Boone.  Randy had various jobs; he worked at Redwood Area Hospital as an orderly, Read’s Processing, Active Aid, Holiday Gas Station, REM, EMT and SOCS Home where he was a nurse for 20 years.  Randy was united in marriage to Wanda (Colby) Wandersee on March 29, 1991. They have two daughters Stephanie Wandersee and Emily Wandersee.  Randy was a wonderful compassionate husband, father and grandfather with a heart of gold.

He is survived by and greatly missed by his wife Wanda, daughters: Stephanie Wandersee (fiancé Nicholas Parker) of Redwood Falls and Emily Wandersee (fiancé John Lothert) of Belview; six grandchildren: Cheyenne, Nicholas and Callan of Redwood Falls and Autumn, Gwyn and Anakin of Belview; sisters: Linda and Hilding Knutson of Redwood Falls, Lois Millerbernd of Coon Rapids, Cindy Wandersee (Mike Hyatt) of St. Augustine, FL; mother-in-law Dolly Colby of Redwood Falls; many nieces, nephews and cousins; his beloved Buster and Patches who were very dedicated animals to him and a very special friend Deb Hopkins of 25 years “his work wife” and all his “adopted kids”.  He was preceded in death by his parents Lloyd and Elda Wandersee, grandparents, and other family members.

He will be missed more than words can say.
