Memorial services for Inez Riddell, of Lamberton, formerly of Westbrook will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 2, 2009 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Westbrook. Inez Riddell, age 94, passed away on January 9th  at the Valley View Manor in Lamberton. A private interment will be held. The Westbrook Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Inez Ewy Riddell was born November 9, 1914 in Westbrook, Minnesota.  She was the daughter of Christ and Hilda (Erickson) Ewy.  Inez graduated from the Westbrook High School in 1932.  Later she worked as a bookkeeper at the Westbrook State Bank.

Inez moved to Chino, California where she lived until 1960.  Then she returned to Westbrook where she was again employed at the bank.  Inez retired in 1976 and continued to live in Westbrook until 2001 when she was admitted to Valley View Manor Nursing Home in Lamberton.

Inez is survived by two nephews: Jon Ewy of Deer Creek, MN and James Ewy of Rushmore, MN; four nieces: Patricia Maxwell of Mariposa, CA, Pamela Karstedt of Spokane, WA, Michele Brady of Sioux Falls, SD, and Deborah Brose of Santa Cruz, CA; plus many great nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her mother and father; one sister Viola; two brothers: Elmo and Lowell; and sisters-in-law: Dorothy Ewy and Marie Ewy.
