Robert “Rob” Lucero age 27 of Tyler, formerly of New Mexico passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at the Tyler Healthcare Center. Memorial Services will be held at 4:00p.m. on Sunday, May 11 at the Missionary Alliance Church in Tyler. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Stephens Funeral Service – Tyler Area Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Robert “Rob” Lucero was born July 8, 1986 to Richard and Sandra (Aragon) Lucero in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Alice Church in Mountainair New Mexico. Robert attended school in Mountainair. He was united in marriage to Itzamara “Mya” Mata on July 8, 2011 at the Lyon County Courthouse in Marshall, Minnesota. They have a daughter Mariah 2 yrs, 1 mo old. Robert worked at various places, was a hard worker and very determined. He was a very loving husband, father, brother, son and uncle, a good friend, very caring toward others and would always carry through with what he was doing. He liked music, was quite the comedian and always joked around, liked to tease and had a mischievous laugh. Rob was a good artist and loved to draw. He adored his wife and daughter – they were his queen and princess.
Rob is survived by his wife Mya and daughter Mariah of Marshall, sons: Gabriel and Fabian of New Mexico; his father Richard of Tyler; siblings: Juilette, Marilyn, Grace, Sandra, Vanessa, Felix, numerous nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother Sandra Lucero, grandmother Bessie Lucero, uncles Patrick Lucero and Robert John Lucero and aunt Delories Lucero.
