Lucas Bernard Rohde Lucas Bernard Rohde, age 4 of Tracy, passed away Friday, March 30, 2012 at Sanford Tracy Medical Center in Tracy, MN.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 5 at Tracy Alliance Church.
Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 4 at the Tracy Area Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue at the church one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Interment is in Lakeside Cemetery in Balaton. Stephens Funeral Service – Tracy Area Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Lucas Bernard Rohde was born June 14, 2007 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Matt Rohde and Amber Wigton. He was baptized at Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis. Lucas was currently a Little Panther at Tracy Elementary Preschool. He loved camping, fishing, and gardening. Lucas was a great artist and loved to draw and color. He had a vivid imagination and loved to tell stories. He was a quiet, gentle boy who was laid back and had a very kind and thoughtful nature. He loved his sisters, and his big sister Hailey was his hero. Lucas enjoyed spending time with all of his family, especially his grandma and grandpa, and loved going to their house.
Lucas is survived by his parents, Matthew Rohde and Amber Wigton of Tracy; sisters Hailey, Marley, and Josilynn of Tracy; grandparents Morgan and Debbie Rohde of Madison, SD; great-grandma Joan Rumpca of Webster, SD; aunts and uncles: Dean Wigton of Canby, Laura (Brent) Gehling of Harrisburg, SD, and Sarah (Beau) Gregory of Newcastle, WY; and many special cousins, great aunts and great uncles. He is preceded in death by his great-grandpa Bernard Rumpca, great-grandparents Art and Lois Rohde, and cousin Joshua Wigton. |
