Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 6, 2010 at the Redwood Area Community Center in Redwood Falls.

Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday at the community center, and continue until the time of services. Arrangements are being handled by the Redwood Valley Funeral Home.

Peter Rohlik was born September 27, 1938 in Vesta Township, Minnesota, on the family farm, to Charles and Helen (Kolander) Rohlik.  He was united in marriage to Paulanett Eis on November 12, 1960.  They enjoyed farming for 49 years.  Peter loved golfing, farming, playing cards and baseball, and taking motorcycle trips out West with his family and friends.  He designed and built water lift pumps.  He loved his dear wife and family very much.  All who knew Peter knew he loved his coffee and would visit with everyone.  He was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and loved reading the Bible and telling others about what he learned.  He will be remembered for his love for life, his humility, loyalty, modesty, integrity, and strong faith.  Peter always wore a smile.

He is survived by his loving wife Paulanett; children Douglas (Gina), Glenn (Darlene), Richard, Janell (Michael) Davis, Charles (Kathy) Jane (Jason) Petty; 11 grandchildren; sisters: Karolyne Rohlik of LaCrosse, WI, and Jeanette Bernardy of Belview; and his brother Paul Rohlik of Vesta.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers John and Timothy; and sister Theresa.
