Sheena Crow, age 32, of the Lower Sioux Community passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at her home after a lengthy battle with cancer. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 6 at the Lower Sioux Community Center. Visitation begins at 4:00 p.m. Monday at the Lower Sioux Community Center and will continue until the time of services. Interment is in St. Cornelia’s Episcopal Cemetery. Sheena Agnes Renee Crow was born August 21, 1983 in Redwood Falls, Minnesota to Rachelle Crow. She was baptized at St. Cornelia’s Episcopal Church. Her godparents were Diane and Albert Lucio. Sheena attended Morton School through the 6th grade and graduated from Redwood Valley High School. She lived on the Lower Sioux Community until a couple years ago when she moved to Redwood Falls. Sheena took care of her mother who had health concerns and helped raise her sister, Vivienne. She had a really good life with the love of her life, Nate Jenkins. Sheena had the most beautiful smile, was always happy, and will be remembered for her laugh. She never complained. Sheena was a wonderful and very selfless, giving person. She loved kids and spending time with them. Sheena enjoyed cooking and baking, cleaning house, and keeping everything in order. She loved playing Bingo, her kitties, and animals.
Sheena is survived by her sister Vivienne Crow of Mankato; aunts and uncles: Renee Renville of Redwood Falls, Gail and Randy Loerzel of Redwood Falls, Norma (Steve) Renville of St. Paul, and Barbara Goodsky of Seattle, WA; cousins: Mike and Keith Crow, Daniel, John, and Lavina Renville; closest friend Raquel Eller and her children: Ricardo Jr., Giselle, Ginessa, and Gia; many other relatives and friends; and her three cats. She is preceded in death by her mother Rachelle, soul mate Nathan “Newt” Jenkins, grandmother Pauline Leith, grandfather Raymond E. Hill, and cousin Ricardo Sanchez.
