Treonne Panitzke age 82 of Redwood Falls passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Seasons Hospice House in Redwood Falls surrounded by her family. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 1st at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Redwood Falls. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Redwood Valley Funeral Home. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will be in the Redwood Falls Cemetery. Treonne Marie Panitzke was born December 27, 1934 to Willard and Olivine (Fagen) Robinson in Sundown Township, Redwood County. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. Treonne graduated from Wabasso High School in 1952. On June 2, 1953 she married Gilbert Panitzke at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church. Treonne and Gilbert farmed for many years and later owned and operated Treonne’s Clothing Stores in Redwood Falls, Sauk Centre, LeSueur, Long Prairie and Ortonville. She was a very active member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church. Treonne enjoyed playing cards, embroidery, flower gardening, and taking care of her yard. As a couple, they loved spending time together at their lake cabin in Sauk Centre fishing and feeding the birds. They enjoyed winter vacations together in South Padre and cherished time with family.
Treonne is survived by her children: Gail (Daryl) Borchardt of Prior Lake, Jeff Panitzke of Veseli, Michael (Jolene) Panitzke of Redwood Falls, and Jodi (Dave) Bunting of Redwood Falls; and grandchildren: Jessica (Wayne) Salem, Michael Borchardt, Tiffany (Aaron) Breitkreutz, Brady (Teri) Panitzke, Tiana (Joshua) Iverson, Jamison (Jennifer) Panitzke, Marissa Panitzke, Dylan (fiancé Emily) Ousky, Nicholas Ousky, and Bailey Bunting. Also surviving are her 16 great-grandchildren; and siblings: Ronnie (Kathy) Robinson of Redwood Falls, Elaine (Tom) Holscher of Long Prairie, and Gary (Linda) Robinson of Redwood Falls. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Gilbert and siblings Kathy Zilka and Jim Robinson.
No one can replace your mother, but God can comfort your heart. He knows what you need during this time much better than anyone else.
My deepest sympathies. My dad, George Fagen, loved her when he was alive. I am so sorry to hear of Treeone’s passing, but I am sure she is with the angels today.
