Vincent “Bean” Leith
Vincent Leith, age 55, of the Lower Sioux Community journeyed to the spirit world on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at the Wood Dale Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 16 at the Lower Sioux Community Center.
Visitation at the Lower Sioux Community Center begins at 3:00 p.m. Sunday with a pipe ceremony and prayer service at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will continue until time of services on Monday. Interment is in Spring Grove Cemetery, Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin. Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Vincent “Bean” Leith was born February 21, 1956 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Clarence and Clara (Green) Leith. On June 2, 2005 he was united in marriage to Lisa Miner in Sioux Falls, SD. Bean worked for Minnesota Department of Transportation in the twin cities area, and drove bus for Iyanka Dakota Bus Lines. Bean was a Traditional Fancy Dancer in his younger years. He loved singing and dancing, laughing and having fun, and visiting with people. Bean also enjoyed playing pool, going to the Casino, and was a good cook.
Vincent is survived by his children: Michael Leith and Duane Leith; grandchildren: Angela, Justina, Cory, Hope, and Leah; siblings: Ron (Loretta) Leith, Mike (Shelly) Leith, John (Beverly) Leith, all of Redwood Falls, Sherman (Mary) Leith of St. Paul, Rose Norcross of St. Paul, Audrey Hoff, Yvonne Leith, Clarence Leith, Jr. all of Morton, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Clara, wife Lisa, nephew Waylon Chance Leith, aunts and uncles James, Pete, Levi, Alfred, Warren, Jackson, and Bernice Leith, Pauline Crow, and John and Michael Green.
