Clara ” Marie” (Moat) Jorgensen, 88, of Olivia, formerly of Tyler passed away Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Golden Living Center in Olivia.

Memorial services will be held at the Tyler Area Funeral Home at 10:00a.m. on Friday, March 29.

Visitation one hour prior to the service.  Burial will be held at a later date.   The Tyler Area Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Clara “Marie” was born November 6, 1924 to Gordon and Gladys (Garton) Moat in Tracy, MN.  She attended school in Balaton and married Raynold V. Jorgensen on May 1, 1945 in Tyler.  She and her husband lived on a farm near Arco.  She moved into Tyler shortly after her husband’s death.  Marie enjoyed visiting, eating out, gambling, playing cards, word puzzles, embroidery, gardening and being with family.

Survivors include daughters: Betty Jorgenson of Marshall, and Beverly Jorgensen of Fargo, ND; three grandchildren: Cheryl, Brian and Jill; and six great grandchildren: Allison, Amber, Ryan, Luke, Riley and Joshua;  brother Don Moat of Marshall.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Wes and Lester and sister-in-law Sally Petersen.
