Bertha was very special to my husband, Ronnie, and me….first as a neighbor in Des Moines River Township, and later when we brought home communion to her in Windom. She and Ron knew a lot of the same history of our area, and had a good time reminiscing. She was always happy to see us, both in her Windom house, and later at the Good Sam. home. What a delightful, kind, friendly person she was.

Also, Dareld, her step-son was in my Westbrook High School class (1955). I grieved when he died much too young.

The world was enriched by Bertha, and she will be missed. However, now there is another angel in heaven!
Love, and prayers, Eunice (Keller) Christensen
