Betty Neuenburg age 67 of Redwood Falls passed away Sunday, July 7, 2013 at her home.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 10 at First Presbyterian Church in Redwood Falls.

Visitation is 5:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Redwood Valley Funeral Home and will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday. Interment is in Crestlawn Memorial Garden. Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.Betty was born March 8, 1946 in Redwood Falls, Minnesota to Ted and Leona (Wood) Jones. She was baptized, confirmed, and married in the Presbyterian Church. Betty graduated from Redwood Falls Public School in 1964. She married Richard Neuenburg and to this union two children were born. Betty worked for Control Data for many years. She also was part owner and helped operate Rick’s Landscaping Services. Betty worked for Redwood Falls Public Schools for 27 years, retiring in June 2012. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and the Red Hat Ladies. Betty enjoyed collecting coupons and labels, and doing crafts. She loved watching the Minnesota Twins and being with her grandchildren.

Betty is survived by her children: Chad (Jolleen) Neuenburg of Lismore and Kim (fiancé Matthew Atkinson) Neuenburg of Eau Claire, WI; grandchildren: Madison, Morgan, and Logan, and Brandon Neuenburg; and mother Leona Arnett of Redwood Falls. She is also survived by her sister Beverly (Jim) Hansen of Winona; step sister Bette Jo (Duane) Tow-Arnett of Minneapolis; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, father Ted, brother Robert Jones, step father Tom Arnett, and nephew Michael Hansen.
