Geraldine “Geri” Denny, age 70, of Blaine, formerly of International Falls, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Golden Living Center in Franklin.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 21 at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Pine Island.  Burial will be in Pine Island Cemetery.  Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Geraldine “Geri” Denny was born August 11, 1941 in Douglas, Minnesota to Floyd and Violet (Pahl) Denny.  Geri was a very creative, crafty, and artistic person.  She loved helping people, and would decorate homes for the less fortunate.  She spent time painting houses, both inside and outside, but her true passion was doing auto body work on vehicles.  She took great pride in the appearance of her well-kept yard.  Geri loved her family, especially caring for and spending time with her grandchildren.

Geri is survived by her daughters Bobbi Jo Denny of Redwood Falls and Lisa Johnson of Minneapolis; grandchildren: Kanisha, Jacob, Payton, and Jazzmine; great-grandson Alexander and great-granddaughter Emily Rose; special friend Shannon Cook; siblings: Lavern (Mary Lou) Denny, Tom Denny, Bob Denny, Shirley (Loren) Hoffman, and David Denny.  “To the Mom I never had.” Love, Bryan Lee Misquadace.
