Evelyn Blake age 97 of Marshall and formerly of Royal Oak, MI passed away Friday, May 1, 2015 at Morningside Heights Care Center in Marshall. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 23 at Church of the Nazarene in Madison Heights, Michigan. Burial will be in White Chapel Cemetery. Evelyn Blake was born December 5, 1917 to Kellus and Nellie (Moore) Buchanan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She was a lifelong member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Denomination.

Evelyn is survived by her children: Gary Blake of Ft. Myers, FL, Carol (Terry) Flesner of Walnut Grove; grandchildren: Stacy Blake of Royal Oak, MI, Tim Blake of Royal Oak, MI, Matthew (Brooke) Flesner of Savage, MN, Melissa (Tedd) Mendes of Lakeville, MN; great-grandchildren: Faith & Gabriel Flesner, and Malachi, Joe, & Miles Mendes.
