Marjorie Ferguson

Marjorie Ferguson age 100 of Walnut Grove passed away Sunday, July 29, 2012 at Prairie View Health Care Center in Tracy. 

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at English Lutheran Church in Walnut Grove. 

Visitation is one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.  Interment is in Walnut Grove Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Walnut Grove Foundation or English Lutheran Church.  Stephens Funeral Service – Walnut Grove Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. 

Marjorie Elizabeth Ferguson was born January 16, 1912 in Lamberton, MN to Edwin and Clara (Roth) Anderson.  She graduated from Lamberton High School in 1930 and University of Minnesota Nursing School in 1933.  On May 10, 1936 she was united in marriage to Dr. William C. Ferguson.  They moved to Walnut Grove in 1938 where Marjorie resided until her death. 

Marjorie in survived by her daughters: Ruth (Keith) Lomica and Mary (John) Kluge; grandchildren: Bill (Debbie) Jeanette, Mary Davidson, Anne (Dave) Brust, William Lomica, Paul Kluge, Peter (Angela) Kluge and Beth (Jeffrey) Bordenave; great grandchildren: Hogan and Ailie Davidson, Katie and Libby Brust, and Jackson Bordenave; son-in-law George Rogus; nieces, nephews, and friends.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, daughters Helen Jane (1949) and Marjorie Jeanette Rogus (2010), sisters Esther Bang and Vivian Gibbons, brothers Harley, Earl, Kenneth and Vance Anderson, and son-in-law Thomas Jeanette.
