Ann was born May 11, 1944 to Lorenz and Ellyce (Andrews) Reyelts in Britton, South Dakota.  She graduated from Britton High School in 1962 and graduated from South Dakota State University in 1966.  While teaching in Minneota, she met the love of her life James (Jim) Lasley.  On May 20, 1967, Ann was united in marriage to Jim in Britton, South Dakota.  The couple then settled in Redwood Falls.  Ann taught in Minneota and Danube before she became a substitute teacher in the Redwood Valley School District as the boys grew up. After years of serving as a substitute teacher, she worked as a home health aide with the Redwood Falls Hospital and also served as the Hospice Volunteer Coordinator before working at Blossom Town.  She was a proud member of Audacia Study Club.  Her main focus was her family and her love for her church.  Over more than fifty years as a member, Ann held many positions within Gloria Dei Lutheran Church and was a long-time member of Charity Circle.

You could often find Ann playing cards, especially with family and the many bridge clubs she belonged to. She loved playing golf with friends and family and scored three holes-in-one. She was an avid entertainer who enjoyed playing host and her laughter would fill the room. She was incredibly proud of her three grandchildren and enjoyed watching their sporting activities. Ann is survived by her sons: Scott (Heather) of Bowling Green, KY and Paul (Tricia) of Alexandria, SD; grandchildren: Annee Lou, Hayden James and Craig James; sister DeAnna Granholm of Brookings, SD, and several beloved nieces, nephews and great nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Jim and sister, Judy Potter.
